Bluetooth Car Handsfree Speakerphones
Below are descriptions and features of Bluetooth handsfree car speakerphones.
Both Bluetooth headsets and handsfree car speakerphones allow you to take phone calls from your cell phone wirelessly without having to put the phone up to your ear.
Car speakerphones are put in the car, often attached by a clip to the sun visor, and contain a speaker and a microphone which allows the driver to speak and take calls from his or her cell phone wirelessly without having to hold the cell phone. No special installation is required for the car speakerphones listed on this website. |

For Handsfree Car Speaker Systems:
Last Number Redial – Make a call to the last number that called you.
Recent Calls Received – Make a call from a list of the recent calls received.
Voice Dialing – These systems can be programmed to allow you to make a call by speaking the name of the person you want to call.
Generally, your cell phone must be able to do voice dialing on its own (without the bluetooth headset or car speaker) to enable your headset or speaker system to do voice dialing.
Talk Time – the amount of time the unit can be used to receive and/or make phone calls
Standby Time – the amount of time the unit can be on when not being used for phone calls
Phone Book – Some systems have this feature which allow you to make a call using a list of numbers that are entered into the car handsfree speaker system by you manually or copied off of the phone list on your cell phone.
Some systems use bluetooth to copy phone numbers off your cell phone wirelessly and store them in the speaker system. Other systems copy phone numbers from your phone’s SIM card.
Caller ID:
Screen – some units have a screen that shows the phone number or name of the person calling.
Speaker – these systems speak the phone number or name of person calling.
Phone number – shows and/or speaks the phone number of the person calling
Name – can be programmed to show and/or speak the name of the person calling |
